The quality is very poor. There are unfinished seams and seams that don't line up. The velcro closure at the neck is a tiny square, and is poorly attached. The fun fur has odd, partial cut marks that look like someone tried to cut a straight line and messed up. Rather than get a new piece, it looks like he/she just sewed over the botched fur and called it quits. As a result, the fur looks a little funky and huge chunks fall off when brushed. Brushed? Yes. Brushed. The fur needs to be brushed or your sweet fox will look like a mangy, matted, ragged fox. I did it very carefully with a tiny Barbie brush (I know, I know) in an effort to make the fur look decent. It looked MUCH better afterwards, but my family room carpet looked like a small Pomeranian exploded all over it. And fun fur doesn't vacuum up very well.
