My wife wore this outfit to a doctors med school graduation. She was the only one NOT wearing scrubs!
She said the top fit to size, She's a size 9 with a 36 bust. The skirt was a bit big since I had ordered the Medium. The sizing chart showed 6-8 small and 10-12 medium. I was concerned that the small would be; well, too small so I got the medium and then we took the skirt to a local seamstress who for a coupla bucks took the skirt in and added some elastic around the waist. The hips fit her very well (she's 38.5) from the beginning and gave her room to move.The material is very nice, a little stretchy and soft.
I got this outfit for her because it was more hot rod 50's appropriate and was sexy without being over the top sexual like so many nurse costumes appear to be. We added a pair of lace up pink Pleaser boots to the outfit and she was ready to rock!">
